Interaction with moms like me

I have joined the site clevelandmomslikeme.com and started exploring it a while back. They do not give much information about how they started or who started it. All the information I could really find about the site is that Jacquie Chakirelis is the site manager and there are several other moms who work on the site part time.
The part of the site that I like best is the discussion part. There are many possibilities in this section for learning and sharing. It is basically just like the discussions we have on facebook but its all about things that pertain to mothers. One discussion that I partook in was about how to transition a toddler from a crib into a toddler bed. Since I have already experienced this stage I was able to give my advice on the matter. Also, just recently there was another discussion I took part in about waiting until a child is one year to cut their hair. Kind of a light and silly matter but it is nice to see that there are other people that experience the same things (superstitious mother-in-law that think a child will not be able to talk if their hair is cut too soon).
Another part of the website that I find really useful is the different groups you can join. There are groups about pretty much anything you can think of from weight loss to working moms. There are discussions within each of these groups that pertain to the people that identify with the group.
Other useful things to check out are the coupons and the marketplace. In the marketplace there are listings for things wanted and things for sale. These things include childcare, furniture, cars, electronics, and pretty much anything else you want to sell or buy or even trade. I think this site is a really great tool for any type of mom.
